The Rising Graph Of Textile Dyeing Machinery

September 22, 2015 0
We cannot imagine our world without colors as they play a vital role in our activities. In every sector of industry colors have got its own role to play. Our industrial applications also revolves around the spectrum of colors. So, dyeing machines are used. Right from plastic, papers to textiles, dyeing machinery are used to impart different colors.

Textile dyeing industry is one of the flourishing Indian businesses which incorporates automated machinery that are capable of handling complex textile dyeing processes. Gone are the days when dyeing was done manually and it was a time-consuming process. Nowadays, customer's needs are changing which has pushed the process of dyeing completely automated. Different types of textile dyeing machinery are developed which aims at achieving the following results,
  • a correct level of color shade
  • capable of providing right proportion of dye liquor interchange
  • controlling the desired degree of temperature needed for a particular dye
  • checking dyestuff & chemical additives to the dye bath
Textile Dyeing Machinery - Different Process Different Machine

We all know that dyeing is the process of adding color to textile material. These colors are added through the reaction between textile and dye solution. Wherein, dyes are made by using different types of compounds.

The entire dyeing process involves a series of complex stages starting from inspection of textile material followed by processing & dyeing process to the final finish of textile material. For each process a special textile dyeing machinery is used. They are as follows,

Singeing Machinery - These machines are used for removing excess hair fibres from textile thereby, making it clean and smooth for the dyeing process. Gas Singeing machinery, Plate Singeing machinery and Rotary Cylinder Singeing machinery are the three different types of model that are available for catering different types of requirements.

Desizing, Scouring & Bleaching Machinery
- Desizing machines are used for removing starch from fabric by using a combination of oxidizing agent chemicals and enzymes. While, other two machines are used for removing substances like fats, minerals, pectins and pigments from the fabric. In market various models of such machines are available. Some of them are designed to carry out either a combination or all of these functions.

Mercerizing Machinery
- These machines improve the luster and dimensional stability of textile so as to improve the dye holding ability of textile. Chainless hot mercerizing technology and electronic systems are used for controlling real time, temperature & pressure parameters for mercerizing process.

Dyeing Machinery - Dyeing machines are used for applying colors to the textile material in a predefined pattern. In the market, there are many different types of dyeing machines ranging from their sizes and process handling system. These machines are capable of handling dyeing process on all types of fibres including natural and synthetic fibres.

Finishing Machinery
- Final glazing, embossing or any other effect is added to the textile through finishing machinery. Calenders, Stenters, etc are widely used for the said purpose.

Textile Dyeing Machinery - The Various Types

The broad family of textile dyeing machinery incorporates technologically advanced machines that are capable of handling bulk processing irrespective of type of fibre being dyed. Further, with minor modification in their operation, they can easily accommodate dyeing with a complete new types of dyes. Such machines acts as an impetus of textile dyeing industry. Some popular textile dyeing machinery are listed as follows
  1. Fibre Dyeing Machine - These machines are used for directly dyeing the fibre to provide more effective result in finished textile. Both natural and synthetic (man-made) fibres can be dyed by these machines. However, fibre dyeing is not as common as yarn or fabric dyeing.

  2. Yarn Dyeing Machine - These machines are used for dyeing a special textile material. Under these three types of machines are available ? Hank Dyeing Machine, Package Dyeing Machine and Beam Dyeing Machine.
  3. Fabric Dyeing Machine - These machines are widely used for the dyeing process. All types of fabrics like woven, non-woven and knitted are dyed using these machines. Wherein, Jigger Dyeing Machines are used for dyeing woven fabric while Winch Dyeing Machine and Jet Dyeing Machines deals in dyeing both woven & knitted fabrics.
  4. Garment Dyeing Machine - Sometime there is a need of imparting a special effect on the garment. These machines are then used.

Technological Advancement In Oil Mill Machinery

August 27, 2015 0
An oil mill machinery is designed to crush and grind seeds for the purpose of extracting oil from them. Oil-bearing seeds like cotton, cashew nut, peanuts, poppy seeds along with olives, avocado, walnuts and fruits of oil palm are pressed to extract the edible oils. Such oils are then used for cooking, biofuel or as a oleochemicals feedstock. The oil extracted from non edible seeds such as Soapnut, Castor bean and other are largely used in the production of biofuel and other lubricants. The remaining materials - press cakes or pomace, from which oil has been extracted, is used as a fertilizer or food items.

The extraction of oil from seeds and plants crush provide an ideal platform to Indian economy to expand its wings of trade to the outer world. As oils are used in almost all industries and sectors. The food industry makes use of oils for cooking, health sector uses oils for producing medicines and ointments, cosmetic industry uses oils and so forth. Oils are also added to the fodder of animals, industrial products and household products.

Oil Mill Technology - Then & Now

In yesteryears, oil presses and mechanical oil expellers were used for extracting oil from oil-bearing seeds. These machines are capable of extracting oils from number of seeds and nuts including almonds, coconuts, groundnuts, walnuts along with rapeseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds and many more. The bright side of these oil mill machines is being easy to operate, compact in size and less expensive than large expellers. Also, they require a small space for storage, which make them suitable for small business set up.

With the advancement in technology, the world has moved a step forward in manufacturing Oil Mill Machinery. Today's oil expellers has turned out to be an amalgamation of pace, technology and performance ? which promise to supply added benefits with the same budget. Owing the same, modern oil mill machines have revolutionized the way of extracting oil.

The oil extraction process is quite simple which requires a moderate level of investment for its setup and operation. The machines used in this process are also compact in size which operates on minimum processing cost and requires less maintenance over the years. Generally, oil mill makes use of two types of technologies (Pre-press & full press) for extracting oil from oil-bearing seeds.
  • Full Pressing Machines: This method of oil extraction is mainly adopted by small companies that are bounded by capacity. In full pressing, oil-bearing seeds are pressed twice in order to extract the maximum oil out of them. Still, this process generates residual with high oil content in the cake. However, it is difficult to effectively remove the required oil content from cake that too without damaging the quality of oil and meal. As this process involves high temperature and tremendous pressure for extracting oil. Thus, solvent based extraction was introduced to make the oil extraction process effective.
  • Pre-Press Machines: In this process the physical properties of oil-bearing seeds is altered including deformation of seed, oil separation followed by frictional heating and water evaporation. Pre-press machines make use of mechanical seed pressing mechanism and turn oil material in cakes for extracting oil. For further processing these cakes are then transferred to solvent extracting plants, where the oil is extracted from all sorts of seeds. At the same time, the oil cakes undergoes some chemical change due to the influence of temperature, microbe, moisture and so forth.

Pre-press machines have wide scope of application with a capacity of handling big process and thus are used by large capacity plants. The oil extracted through prepress machines are better in quality and texture than that of full-press and direct extraction. Also, the prepress machines are capable of reducing the power consumption and maintenance cost.

Mechanical Plough

Long gone are the days of using bulls for plowing fields. Nowadays, almost all farmers across the globe use mechanized plowing machinery. These machines are generally equipped with a powerful engine so that the plowing heads can cut deep into the soil. The deeper the cut is, better is the prospects of getting higher yield. Mechanical ploughs generally have more and one plowing head so that a larger part of the land can be plowed more easily. The plowing machines are available at an affordable price and so farmers can easily have them.
