Defined as an ancient medicine based treatment medium, Ayurvedic Medicine can be seen evolved from the Brahmin sages of India, in its ancient times. The meaning of the term Ayurveda can be obtained from the roots of Ayur which means life and Veda which classifies knowledge. According to the ancient Vedic texts which were later discovered, this Ayurvedic treatment can be found to be the most primitive practice which was prior to 4000 BC and according to some, this medicinal practice can be seen even before 8000 years.
